Luke 8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
In Jesus, we have an abundant supply of virtue for every need. He is the source of all goodness, strength, and power. We can do nothing on our own of any value, without first drawing from His endless wellsprings of goodness.
Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Until we fully believe this and surrender our lives completely to God, knowing that all power of righteousness is provided for us and comes to us directly from Him, we can never rest or have any comfort in our Christian lives. We can never experience that peace that passes all understanding unless we truly trust Him to lead us beside still waters and to give us rest in green pastures. […]
